Chester shrugged. 'I dunno. Let's not focus on the minor details.'

"Alright, fair enough." Jayd chuckled, but his mind went down a spiral back when he was little and everyone seemed to love him, and he had no idea why. He was so naïve.

Chester chuckled lightly but absentmindedly. He was wondering what could've happened if that woman had been able to remain in his life. What would've happened if she really loved him, but with some people it could never be.

Jayden couldn't think about back then for too long before getting a weird sad feeling, like he wanted to go back in time to back then. He sighed.

Chester noticed this and snapped out of his thoughts. 'Are you alright?'

Jayd looked at Chester, shrugging. "Yeah, just... Remembering things."

Chester nodded. 'Right.'

"Sorry." Jayden said, though he wasn't sure what he was apologizing for.

'Why?'

Jayd thought for a moment. "For worrying you."

Chester raised an eyebrow. 'It's fine.'

Jayden nodded. "I suppose." He said, embarrassed.
