"You agreed though!"

"That doesn't sound like something Chester would do..." Maeve looked at Jayden. "Did you blackmail him?"
"What? No!" -
Chester chuckled. ‘What makes you think he blackmailed me?’

"Because you don't go to parties anymore." Maeve said simply.

Chester rolled his eyes. ‘So your first assumption is that my boyfriend blackmailed me?’ -
"I dunno!" Maeve held up her hands in the 'I surrender' pose.

Chester chuckled. ‘Well, he didn’t.’

"Good." Maeve laughed.

The chef brought out their food. Chester pulled away from Jayden to grab his plate.

Jayden grabbed his plate as well, smiling.
