Jayd chuckled. “How’d you sleep?”

‘Fine. Changed into a cat at 1am though, which wasn’t terrifying at all.’

Jayden chuckled. “Obviously. I can’t imagine it being strange at all.”

‘Obviously. But imagine my horror when I woke up and saw you were 10 times bigger than me. It took 20 minutes to change into 60% human.’

“So I could’ve been the taller one?” Jayden complained, laughing.

Chester rolled his eyes. ‘Shut up.’

“I’d rather not.”

Chester huffed, but didn’t seem too annoyed. ‘Fine. Do you want to get ready for the day?’

“Yup.” Jayden nodded. “Do you want to wear my sweater today, or are you going to stick to your suits for now?”

Chester chuckled. ‘I’ll wear a suit, but just because I’m going to be meeting your family. I kinda want to make a good impression.’ He sat up, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. ‘Maybe later today?’

“Sure!” Jayd said happily, sitting up as well.

Chester smiled, ruffling his hair. ‘Love you.’

“Love you too.” Jayden grinned. He stood up once Chester was done.

Chester smiled wider and stood as well, picking out a nice suit. ‘This ok?’

“Yeah.” Jayden nodded. “Although, you don’t really have to try too hard for the first impression.” He mumbled. “I’m pretty sure their minds are already made up.”
