Chester chuckled and continued eating.

Jayden continued eating as well, still leaning into Chester. -
Chester smiled.

Jayd finished his food eventually, smiling.

Chester did the same.

Jayden looked up at Chester. “Do we have to sign the treaty now?”

Chester nodded and stood up. He held a hand out to Jayden.

Jayd took his hand, standing up.

Chester smiled and led him through the castle, over to a balcony overlooking the city. Set up was a small table with the document and two quills dipped in a small pot of ink.

There was a crowd of people below the balcony, most of them reporters and journalists by the looks of it, all there to see them both sign the treaty.

Chester intertwined their fingers as more villagers came to watch. 'Ready?' he murmured, dog ears and tail disappearing, being replaced with his phoenix wings which folded on his back.

Jayden gave a small nod. “Ready.” He smiled.

Chester smiled, kissing the side of his head. Cameras flashed, but Chester barely noticed. He stepped forward to address his kingdom.
