Chester chuckled, following. ‘I didn’t think you were serious!’

"Well would you rather sit and talk about your feelings like I'm a therapist or something?" Jayd chuckled.

‘I mean, when we decided to be lovers we kind of signed up to be each other’s therapists, so yes please,’ Chester said, smiling shyly.

Jayden nodded. "Fair enough. You're talking to Jayden, therapist mode. What's up?"

Chester pointed up at the sky.

"Shut up. Tell me what's wrong." Jayd chuckled.

Chester chuckled. ‘Do you have a little sibling? Or a small cousin or something?’

"I have a little cousin." Jayden nodded.

‘Well, right now I’m like Maeve’s dad. And her brother. I have to be both. But it’s easier to be her brother. Does that makes sense, or am I talking nonsense?’

Jayd thought about that for a second before nodding. "It makes sense, keep talking."

‘You’re good at this whole therapist thing,’ Chester said with a chuckle. ‘Right now she wants me to be her brother. But I can’t be her brother because I have to be her dad. And I can’t be her dad because I have a kingdom to run.’

"I think.... You need to hire a nanny or something." Jayd suggested, squeezing Chester's hand comfortingly.

‘I have,’ Chester sighed. ‘They all quit.’

Jayden thought about that. "Maybe... Uh..." He trailed off, not knowing what to say.

Chester smiled softly. ‘I just needed to vent. I’ll talk to her later, alright? Thank you.’
