Chester kept silent too. He glanced out a window, then checked his pocket watch. 'Oh dear,' he said. 'We missed lunch.'

"Do you think they have leftovers we could eat?" Jayd asked, feeling hungry.

'Probably.' Chester closed the pocket watch and stood.

Jayd stood up as well. "Cool watch."

'Thanks,' Chester said.

"You're welcome." Jayden said. "Can we go to the dining room now?"

'Of course,' Chester said, walking towards the door.

Jayd smiled, following Chester.

Chester opened the double doors and after checking Jayden was following, walked down the halls.

Jayden couldn't help but observe how much of a maze the halls were. How could anyone get through them normally?

Chester didn't seem lost at all, and made his way through his castle just fine.

Jayd followed, trying to avoid the path of some of the servants that were walking down the halls.

They soon got to the dining hall. A younger girl, maybe 14 or 15, was eating at the table.

"Do you want to sit by her?" Jayden asked, motioning to the girl.

'She's my sister,' Chester said. 'So, unless you humans have a better relationship with your siblings, I'd rather not.'
The girl appeared suddenly in front of them. 'I heard that!'
