‘Maeve, what’s wrong?’ Chester asked, worried.

"Nothing." Maeve muttered, looking down at her food.

Chester frowned. ‘You sure?’ Maeve told him everything, so he figured it was something he’d done.

Maeve nodded, eating her food.

‘Alrighty,’ Chester muttered, eating as well.

Jayden watched the two of them, concerned. He ate his food.

Chester grabbed out his pocket watched, setting it on the table and fiddling with the chain.

Maeve ate quickly.

Chester noticed this and frowned.

"Careful. You don't want to eat too fast and get cramps." Jayden knew from personal experience how much it sucked.

Maeve just rolled her eyes and ate faster.

Jayden frowned. He looked up at Lavender, wondering if she knew what was happening.

Lavender glanced at him and shook her head, looking down.

Maeve finished her food.

Lavender was still eating.
