"I'm fine." Jonah said, chuckling. "Just adjusting myself."

"okay then." Valako said

Jonah nodded, trying to relax.

Valako hummed and kicked her feet

Jonah played with a few of the twigs, snapping them into little pieces.

"I think nows a good time to try the cherry coke." Valako said, taking the aforementioned coke out of her dress pocket.

Jonah nodded, smiling. "Tell me if it was worth breaking your mom's rules." He said with a chuckle.

"you're gonna get to see my full reaction." Valako said, tapping on the lid to release pressure

"You know that's not really gonna help release the pressure, right?" Jonah asked, trying to stop himself from rambling about other soda myths. "It doesn't do anything. It's a placebo of sorts."

"I just don't want it to fizz all over me." Valako said

"Alright, makes sense." Jonah watched her so he could see her reaction when she drank the soda.

Valako opened it and took a hesitant sip. Her eye practically glowed as her whole face configured into a smile. "I think I might have a new favorite drink." Valako said

Jonah chuckled as he saw her reaction. "Well that's good. You're practically beaming over it."

"it's so good, I can't imagine why my mom hated it so much." Valako said
