Illumina watched her cluelessly. What was she doing? He decided to leave her be. Without a word, he sat with Skyodus on the crafting table to the right of the canine.

Grayson let go of her legs and grabbed her large satchel, reaching inside. She pulled out a small book and a ukulele, setting the book down on the ground and the ukulele resting against her chest.

Illumina’s eyes widened. He’d heard that in a snapshot, the creators of Minecraft would add instruments far more complicated to strum a tune on than jukeboxes, but he certainly hadn’t been expecting a ukulele.

Grayson began to play, strumming with ease. She hummed, her head bobbing to a slow beat as she played. She smiled as the music washed away her nerves and anxiety, continuing to play. -

Illumina was curious about this new addition to such a blocky game, so he asked, "How do you play it?" Perhaps little built-in labeled jukeboxes you could press to make sound; a short, trimmed custom disc that reinserted itself every time you strummed?

``Oh, uh, I could show you if you'd like,`` Grayson said, looking over to Illumina. ``It's pretty easy, all you have to do is learn the chords and patterns to make songs.``

Illumina poked his head into the sound hole and he watched the strings above it vibrate mesmerizingly. "What is this?" he asked in amazement, gesturing to the sound hole. "What purpose does it serve? It's just a hole in the instrument." He was vividly reminded of how he and Grayson had met; a creeper explosion. A hole in the ground, he had said. -

``It sort of acts like a speaker, I guess,`` She responded, giggling at Illumina's curiosity and amazement. ``It's kind of how it makes the sounds.`` -
Illumina blinked, obviously taken aback. "But it's just a hole?" he said in a small voice, inclining his head and grimacing.

``Well, the strings are how you make the notes and different sounds,`` Grayson said, holding the ukulele up to her chest. ``See, I put my fingers on the different strings and frets, and it makes different sounds.`` She played a few chords, moving her fingers as she played different chords.

Illumina flinched at the loud noise, but soon he was nodding his head to the beat. "Huh. That's a cool addition. Do you craft a ukulele or find one in a loot chest?" he blurted out. He couldn’t help himself.
