Skypaw poked his tongue out teasingly at her before padding over to Juniperberry. Pyrokit always seemed to bring out his fun side.
Lilypaw watched him with a hostile expression. Her poor little sister loved him and he had brushed her off like a fly! Not to mention, he became a medicine cat to top it all off. No one, no one treated her sister like that.
"Pffft. How would he know it's me? I mean, I could go find Owlpaw or Twigsnap. Funny, Twigsnap naps a lot but she hasn't been doing it in camp. But I know Owlpaw is asleep by the fresh-kill pile! She's gonna kill me but this'll be worth it." She purred, heading out and barreling into Owlpaw. "HEEEEEEEY WAKE UP TIME!" She screeched.
"So I know you only just fell asleep, like, an hour ago, but you know me, and I can't stand seeing you asleep. Where's Twigsnap? I know she naps all the time, but not in camp anymore. And Skypaw says not to wake up the leader, but I really want to. Where's Hawkpaw and Falconpaw?" She rambled on to her friend.
"Out on a hunting patrol," Owlpaw said, stretching and yawning. She was used to her friend waking her up by now. "Twigsnap never sleeps in camp anymore because she knows you'll wake her up two seconds later."
"Well I'm gonna go back to Juniperberry now that you're awake. And don't you dare fall asleep again!" She mewed with a smirk, running back to Skypaw. "Now you see what happens if you fall asleep during daylight hours." She mewed, and went over to Juniperberry. "Hey, isn't tonight the half-moon meeting?" She asked excitedly.
"I believe it is," Juniperberry said after a moment of thought. "Why don't you try teaching Skypaw what you know? It'll be good training for the day you become a mentor."
"Ooh, does that mean I can show him like every herb in the forest, and we can collect one of each that I know?" She asked. "And we can search every inch of the forest. To find Twigsnap so I can awaken her!"
