"Hey Captain, do you know what a stuffed animal is?" Cass asked.

He shook his head, looking confused

Cass lifted up a stuffed bear and held it out to him.

Captain took it, seeming amazed at the squishiness and texture

Cass smiled warmly at him. "Do you like it?"

He quickly nodded, hugging it

Cass set out some Legos and other toys, causing Chrome to pad over to investigate.

Captain blinked at the legos and started poking at them, blinking when two peices clicked together. He started putting random peices together, giggling

"Wow, you got the hang of it very fast," Cass said, a bit surprised. How old was he anyway? She had no idea. He could be 50 for all she knew.

Captain stopped for a few seconds "i...dont know? Older then you i think

"How did you...never mind," Cass said. "So you can read minds too, huh?"

He shook his head "just souls"

"Souls?" Cass said. "Like, my emotions?"
