Raisa followed the prefect to the passageway. She knew the rhythm. There was only one. When the barrel opened, the students went through the passageway and into the common room. She went imediately through a series of tunnels to her room that she shared with a few other kids.
She hurried to the Gryffindor common room, chattering like a squirrel to other students. She flung herself in an armchair and swung her legs, “This is a nice room.” She said, sighing.
After a few minutes of talking in the armchair she decided to head upstairs, seeing her belongings waiting for her. She pulled out a small tank for Koki. She placed the poisonous dart frog inside of it and put the metal grid on top.
She lay in bed, thinking about all the adventures she would have here. She pulled out a small photo of her parents and waved at them through the image, and they waved right back. She smiled and out it safety in her jacket. After a moment she sat upright and started talking to everyone within a yard of her bed.
