Adonis stretched. "Dunno how I could fight, unless you intend for me to transport the villains to Tokyo or something," Adonis said. She stuck out her hand and made a portal underneath one of the mannequins, and opened another one very far up. The mannequin fell through, and Adonis began to teleport it around and juggle it through the warehouse.
"I've aready thought about my hero name. Listen to this: Theta!" Adonis said, posing coolly. Unfortunately, in her moment of distraction, she dropped the mannequin behind her, which made her look kind of silly.
Danny chuckled and picked the mannequin back up, set it up far away, and struck it with a bolt of lightning, knocking it over, and slightly charring the middle of it. " I'm Volt." Danny said confidently. I really like Theta, but where does it come from?"
Yume thought for a moment and then he grinned "i can be Dream Weaver and Akumu can be Night Terror!" he said happily, glowing brightly. Akumu inched away from his glowing twin, looking a little uncomfortable with the brightness
"Everyone's name is awesome," Adonis says encouragingly, even clapping a bit. When Danny asks about Theta, Adonis is more ready than ever to geek out a bit, but she tries not to make it sound super complicated. "A theta is a symbol that looks like a zero with a line in the middle of it," Adonis says as she draws it out in the air with her finger.
"It's the eigth letter in the greek alphabet, and it's also used in astronomy to signify the eigth star in a constellation. In math it's the way to find the angle of a vector, like the thing you put next to sine, cosine, and tangent. I think it fits me because of the fact that it symbolizes eight, that number can resemble the two portals I open in order to transport things. Not to mention the zero thing, for when I go through portals and come out all ghostlike."
"Wow, you're name has a really good meaning to it. All of these names are great. We'll need costumes too for ourselves, and we're going to need a team name, too. Something that the news can refer to us as before they name us something incredibly stupid." Danny said.
Yume frowned "Akumu is really good a sewing, so maybe he could make some?" he said uncertainly as he looked at his sibling. Akumu shrugged "if i had the materials, sure. It would take a while though. For now i think we should just use normal clothing"
Adonis puts her hand on her chin, in a thinking pose of sorts. "I agree with Akumu. For now we can wear normal clothes, and of course masks or something," Adonis says. She picks up her notebook and begins writing out ideas, thinking about what she had in her wardrobe.
"Pretty simplistic." Danny said "I guess if we dressed too flashy we'll attract more attention than we probably should. Plus, I'm not a fan of tights." Danny said crossing his arms. "Ok, so we got code names figured out, we have a pretty solid understanding on what our costumes should look like. What about that team name? We need something kinda catchy, something that's simple enough for people to remember, and something that isn't too long and unnecessary. What are your guys' ideas?" Danny asked looking around the shop for inspiration, though there probably wasn't much. The warehouse was old, grey, and either had rust or cobwebs surrounding everything else. It needed to be clean. All of a sudden he thought of something. Something that although simplistic, not very exciting, but it would do for the time being. "I think I may have something?"
Alice came up with the perfect name and said "What if we called ourselves the Ultra Squadron?" It just sounded like the most awesome name she could come up with and it would give people something recognizable.
