Xever felt it was a good time to ask more about Kiba and her people. He asked "So is there anything else I should know about mermaids."

"We're the protectors of the sea and we normally travel in schools if we are under attack.We also protect our treasures from Intruders"Kiba said.

Xever said "I see, besides sea predators, do you have any other enemies?"

"Well we are the top prey of sharkmen.....which are like us except with body parts of a shark..."Kiba said,her voice having a bit of fear in it.

Xever said "I know how you feel. In certain parts of the jungle, there are these people who have completely given in to their snake side. I don't think they're even human anymore."

Kiba frowned"Do they attack your people?."

"Yeah, but only if someone is stupid enough to be outside the city at night." answered Xever.

Kiba shuddered"I see."

Xever said "Uh-huh. Course I haven't seen any, even at night. Maybe I'm just lucky."

Kiba nodded her head"Might be."

Xever said "Yeah. Though I bet compared to the jungle, being under the sea is very interesting."

Kiba hummed"It is."

Xever asked "What's the most interesting you've found in the sea?"

"I found a lot of different kinds of jewels and one time I found a golden Trident"Kiba hummed as her eyes sparkled.

"I see." Xever said "All I've ever found is some old coins."
