Archaios whimpered softly in fear and hr tried to move further behind the boxes

Rose shook her head and took a deep breather to calm down. " just show yourself already i know your here."

Archaios slowly came out from behind the boxes, trembling in fear

Rose saw something come out . Her eyes widened when she saw it, it was a boy about her age. "what are you dong here ?" she asked with a cinfuse look

"hiding" he said softly, his voice horse from disuse

" from what" she bent down and set the candle on the floor.

Archaios watched her warily"my owner" he said softly, looking down at the ground

"owner ? what do you mean by owner. " she noticed his old clothes and assumed hes been here for a while

Archaios tilted his head slightly at her "the man who bought me from them" he said after a bit

"oh.. how old have you been here?" Rose sat down next to the candle

He blinked and tilted his head again, thinking "2 years maybe

" so.... you knew my uncle?" She set her head on her kneees. " he was the owner of this house. but..but he passed away a few month ago" she sighed and looked at the floor.

He nodded slowly"yeah, he let me live here" he said as he slowly sat down

" really?" she looked surprised almost "wait you lived up here ?"

He nodded again before he started coughing
