Thread Topic: ANDI WE MUST DO THE THING
ok idk if u wanna do this or not but if I'm being annoying tell me if u don't want to cuz I can't read minds and suck at taking hints
I don't think I like this plot sorry love ;~; probs should have told you earlier
Like I love soaping with you
But you know how sometimes you just feel the plot
I don't feel this plot
Ah yeah I feel that man
Would you rather do something else? I mean, if you still want to rp
I totally want to rp with you but the plot would have to be something else xD
You know like
You think you want to do a plot
But then you're like "uuuuuh"
I saw this thing on tumblr that was like "okay so what if you stopped aging at 18 and started aging again when you met your soulmate so you'd grow old together"
We could do something off of that? If you like it, I'll type up something more descriptive
hmmm maybe type it up
tumblr has the best plots xD
And as a ref, here's a whole bunch of plots I mean over a hundred just go to "plots by genre"
I'm going to post multiple plots because yeah? Some are supernatural, but we don't have to go with that.
Theres a boarding school where all students, staff and faculty are supernatural beings. Dormitories are separated based on kind. Despite efforts of administration and faculty to make the school harmonious, there are tensions between kinds (e.g. vampires vs werewolves) and even between families within supernatural groups (e.g. vampire vs vampire). If thats not complicated enough, there are halflings who are caught in the middle of all those tensions at once. These halflings are considered lower class citizens than their purebred classmates.
Muse A is a halfling, but able to hide it easily due to their appearance. Muse B, on the other hand, is from a long, prestigious line of purebred (insert species) and has been taught to look down on any halflings. What happens when the two become unlikely friends (or perhaps, even more)?
Muse A is an aspiring artist who goes to a prestigious art school in the city. Upon attending a gallery show with friends, Muse A is introduced to the work of an up-and-coming artist whom theyve never heard of before. The artwork speaks to them on a personal level, as they see definite similarities between this artists themes and technique and their own work. To Muse As dismay, the artist isnt there to speak to, but theyre able to get the artists contact email from the shows curator. Taking a chance, Muse A emails the artist (muse B) and explains how their work has inspired them and how honored theyd be if the artist might one day give them some tips on how to make it in the fine art industry. To Muse As surprise, they receive a response from Muse B almost immediately. Muse B wants to meet them the next morning at their studio. When the next day dawns, Muse A arrives at the address given and is surprised to discover that Muse B is close to them in age. They talk a little bit before Muse B invites them into their work space.
Upon entry, Muse A is in awe and expresses that they cant wait for the day when they have a studio like Muse Bs. Muse B offers to let them work in the space, if Muse A will agree to be their muse. Muse B offers a contractual arrangement, which states that for two months time Muse A will come to the studio and provide inspiration to Muse B in exchange for use of the space when Muse B isnt around. Muse A happily agrees and signs the contract, thinking that this is a once in a lifetime kind of deal. However, Muse A starts to become an inspiration to Muse B in more ways than one, and a relationship quickly blooms between the two.
Muse A has been sheltered for most of their upbringing, coddled by loving but overprotective parents well into their teenage years. Theyve yet to experience most of the milestones that their same-age peers take for granted, like attending a school dance or getting their drivers license. The only time that Muse A isnt under the watchful eye of their parents is when theyre at school and even then, theyre under strict orders to come straight home once that dismissal bell rings. Muse B hasnt resided with a parent/guardian since they were legally able to live on their own. They didnt come from a nurturing environment, not even close, but theyre not looking for a pity party about it. Muse B fends for themselves in this world and theyve earned a bit of a reputation for snubbing their nose at authority at every opportunity.
Muse A encounters Muse B one afternoon as theyre making their way to the bus. Muse A cant help but stare with envy as Muse B mounts their motorcycleable to ride off whenever and wherever they please. Muse B catches Muse A staring and they offer Muse A a ride. Muse A accepts, hastily snatching up their first little taste of freedom.
C1 is virtually immortal, and intends to stay that way. In a world where people age up to and then remain 18 until they find their soulmate, they find discovering their one true love to be a little stupid. Why settle down, when the world is open to exploration for someone with no ties to anyone? However, C1 can't hide the fact that when they aren't living the party lifestyle, they sometimes long for a true love.
C2, on the other hand, has eagerly awaited their soulmate from the the moment they learned of their world's ways of love. Refusing anyone who isn't their soulmate has left them naive and inexperienced, but they don't mind. And their soulmate won't either, right?
One morning, C1 and C2 run into each other while getting coffee/commuting to work/getting mail from the apartment building's mail room. The two figure it's a random encounter, and go about their lives. That is, until C1 can tell they're starting to age again.
Thread with Doll honestly reminds me of GTQ before the older users got ignored 24/7..
