He kissed her back gently and held her close.

Rona smiled. "Can I ask you something?"

He blinked lightly. "And what would that be Rona?"

"Take me on as your actual apprentice?" she asked.

He blinked again. "You are an actual apprentice, Rona. I made that deal with you at the cottage and I am true to my word. You are my actual apprentice." He poked her arm.

She smiled. "Good."

He patted her head lightly and smiled.

She rolled her eyes. "Do that again and I'll turn you into a frog." She was kidding, but it had felt a bit degrading.

He laughed lightly."I don't think you'd like kissing a frog." He kissed her cheek."Sorry if you felt degraded."

She shrugged. "You're right... maybe a parrot."

He shook his head. "Then I'd be a terrible parrot."

"Come on, parrot, let's keep walking." She smiled, taking his hand once again.

He smiled back and started walking again. "So I'm a parrot now?"

"Maybe you're a parrot-frog hybrid." She wasn't really sure. She liked him the way he was.

"That's hurtful." He laughed. "The frog had to have been drunk to sleep with a parrot."
