in or out?
Somewhere where we can talk about what God has done for our live, a place for prayer requests. A place where you can glorify God in any way you like. A place where we can ask each other questions about Him and help each other grow. This is the place. Our own Christian Group -

First off, I would like to point out that in this post, I am not being offensive. That I am not ridiculing nor am I arguing. I am coming here officially and professionally to state something that I find important.
I want it to be known that I would have no issue with there being a thread dedicated to religion. I say religion because if you dedicated one to Christianity, then you would have to dedicate a thread to every other belief. And I say that I "would" have no issue if it weren't for the fact that the same respect has not been kept for others.
You are asking for a safe haven; a place you can come and be among people like you. But you are not the first group to do that on this website. I have personally started up threads for Atheism in the past and had them spammed with death threats, hate mail, and hell threats.
I do not hold you responsible for the actions of your predecessors. But I will show you the same respect that Theism has shown me. I will show you the same respect that YOU have shown me. This is not a threat. This is not a warning. This is a statement of the truth. I will not stand by and watch Theism gain a foothold and a sanctuary when the same curtosy has never been shown to my people.
This thread is the last one where I will be pleasant. If this thread continues to gain popularity, I will show you no sympathy.

@ bob is that a threat i hear. Ofcourse i know people are going to disagree and hate. No it's not understood. I do not care what happened in the past here in this forum, it's none of my business. arent you one of the people that speak of freedom to do stuff on here, and i have respected that with all your threads on atheism. Did i hate? Sent hate mail? No, those were people without much appreciation for other people, people who misunderstood, who were cornered and reacted in a fight or flee mentality. I definitely am not one of those people. Threatened or not, i'll make sure this will gain popularity. Now is that understood? :)

I have never claimed that people should be able to do whatever they want on here. I am one of the people who says we need moderators.
Further more, I affiliate myself with the Atheist community on GTQ. I stick up for them and I support them in debates. If I didn't want to be in the middle of it, I wouldn't make my lack of belief this obvious.
On that same principle, if a theist makes their theism known, then I will associate them with the theistic community on GTQ. I will debate and fight with them as I would any other theist who makes their belief obvious.
Simple as that. -
sorry but then i dont see our problem. I truly have nothing against atheists, or any other religion that's your choice and that needs respect. I dont have a problem with you debating on here about how Christianity is wrong, that's your view and i have mine. And all i am asking is for you not to do it in this thread. You can argue, debate on the forum but just not in this thread

Why not just have a place for everyone but without intruding on the other's thread?

honestly if i did that it'll lead into a very huge fight. We are only a few Chrstians her and alot of Atheists and other religions, and when the others start defending and protesting, they get cornered. And people do stupid things when they get cornered. If people want to make their groups, go for it

This is a forum for open debate and conversation. Atheism itself cannot be discussed or explained without insulting theism. And the few times we do try and be pleasant, we are insulted and attacked in return. I will not let stand a safe haven for the people who say they are morally obligated to hate others, or the wall of people they hide behind who claim to be victims.

I'm pretty much lax on the whole debate thing, I don't really like posting much in here.
Furthermore I'm just going to say, I'm alright with pretty much everything as long as no one says "I will pray for you' or pity me because of my lack of faith in god.
As long as no one says that to me, I'll leave you guys alone. Do we have a deal? xD -
