What do I make my best friend for Christmas? I can not buy much, I'm pretty much broke. She is my bestest friend in the whole wide world, she has been through everything with me. She always makes me the coolest gifts and I make the crappiest so this year I want to make something good.
About her- She's kinda girly, kinda not. Loves makeup, does karate, we have so many inside jokes, she loves music almost as much as I do. She has the best traits in the world and she's gorgeous.
Any ideas? Thanks -
Make a collage out of magazine clippings of all your inside jokes, her interests, etc. Also, if you like the same bands you could try and make her a mixed cd with them. Or if you're willing to spend maybe $12 you could get her a makeup brush set if she doesn't have one already, I highly recommend getting brushes for makeup, it's better than your hands.

You could make a photo album/ scrapbook type thing with all your inside jokes, best memmories, common interests, etc.

Marks9Brigade NewbieSorry for intruding. I'd say you get about 5 or so boxes small and big. Then you have or get a gift of your chosen for your best friend. Next, put your gift inside the smallest box you have and simply put that box into another box and keep doing that till you run out of boxes. In the mean time while you put a box into another one, simply right on each box something. For example: right on the first box she starts opening you would wright "Merry Christmas". On the other boxes, you would just say like your getting closer or something like that. Remember to be creative like your best friend is! And this may sound a lot in words, but that is what I am doing for my family.

You should make her a jean purse
1. get a jean jacket or a pair of jeans and cout out the shape of a purse x2 (including strap)
2.sew the jean pieces together
3. put a strip of fabric across the purse depending on her karate belt color
4. make some music notes out of fabric or sequins and sew those on
5. add any more designs you want
6.sew a button to one side of the purse
7.cut out another strip of jean fabric
8.cut a hole big enough for the button to fit through on ONE side of the strip
9.sew the opposie side of the hole on the strip to the opposite side of the button on the purse
10. put one or two of her fav type of make-up in the purse,put in box,wrap the box,and wait until christmas -

@Cal that's time consuming and isn't practical and or cheap. Makeup is expensive, flib might not know how to see and or have spare jeans, belts change, and her friend may hate jeans. At least four of mine do. :P so it's really impractical for her described situation.

She could use different fabrics,make a multicolored belt,it wasn't too time consuming when I made one myself,and sometimes make-up isn't expensive.SOme stores where I live sell make-up for a dollar. -
@Cal time consuming as in if she doesn't already know how to sew, she'd have to learn and seeing as it's her best friend she's obviously going to want it to come out good. Also most $1 makeup products are really cheap.
