Im sorry,kinda childish to ask but,like what triggers nightmares?junkfood,scarey stuff before bed?

the "experts" say it's that your brain is going through old data so yea scary stuff would cause nightmares. in my opinion it's a combo of that and the fact that while your asleep you continue to think, so like if you feel an ant sting you or sumpin your going to dream about creepy crawlies all night.

I think it's when you're stressed out and over tired, if you work hard before you go to bed your brain isn't relaxed, so you'll have some nightmares and wake up in the middle of the night.
