She continued to state at the odd girl, but loosened her grip. "Come with me. Please."
None of the others seemed to notice. Confusion, surprise, and shock were foreign emotions to them. -
Bunny stared helplessly at the girl, and nodded.
"Okay..." she murmured, the people drawing closer still. They called out warnings to the girl to hold Bunny where she was, not to let her get away. -
"Stay with me." She grabbed the other girl's hand gently, leading her toward a group of other girls. They blended perfectly.

Bunny did as she was told, keeping her eyes on the girl's hand the whole time. When was the last time she'd felt the skin of another person?
"...Never..." she muttered. -
"Hm?" Penelope turned toward the girl. That was when she spotted the adults that had been following her. She broke into a run, pausing through the crowd with one hand and keeping with the girl with the other.

Bunny was being dragged along now, and found herself struggling to keep pace with the girl. The concrete was still tearing up her bare feet, and she hadn't had cause to run like this ever before..

She escaped the dispersing group, turning a street corner. Looking back, she could see the adults gaining on them.

Bunny glanced back at them, and felt the panic come back again.
"Stop it!" she screamed back at them as she ran, and picked a rock off the ground as she went. She threw it back over her shoulder, hoping to at least slow them. -
Penelope darted into the street, causing cars to run into each other and form a blockade. Surprise might not be part of the drivers, but slow reflexes were. She grinned. "That should stop them... We're almost there."

Bunny nodded, eyes trained on the girl again.
"Okay..." -
She let go of her hand, walking toward a building. She went inside, waiting for the other girl.

Bunny hesitantly followed the girl. Another building... Would she be stuck in there, too? This place was so nice, though...

She headed for the elevator. "What's your name?"

"Er.... Bunny..." she muttered. Wait... There was something she was supposed to say... "What's yours?" she asked quietly. She was still marvelling at the lacking of cold in her chest. It hardly occured to her that she could actually see now.. She paused in place, eyes wide, and traced her fingertips around her face.
"No water...?" -
"Penelope. Water? If you're thirsty, I'll get you something to drink when we get to my family's apartment." The doors uponed, letting them out on the third floor.
