I didn't jump after you and stood there, arms crossed. "Uh huh."

I looked back. "Please?" I did a puppy dog face, my most adorables.

The dog continued pulling. The other dogs looked at him, then caught onto the scent.
"HAM HAM HAM HAM HAM! I want haaaam!"
All the humans heard was barking. -
I stood there. "Ha! I don't care what you do, but as your hostage, I'm most certainly NOT going to run after you!"

I sighed, then jumped back over the creek. "I didn't want to have to make you do it like this, but if I have to.." I pulled the gun up to her head again.

I rolled my eyes. "Thank you. Usually people don't enjoy being hostages, and as much as I hate the thought of going 'home,' I'm no different." I followed after you without causing trouble.

I heard the dogs barking madly. "We need to hurry.. After getting back over theceek, I started fast-walking, but still kept my steps as quiet as possible.

I walked beside you, easily matching your pace, and quiet as well.

The dogs ran through the trees, barking louder and louder. The officers thought they'd surely found the unruly boy and the poor, innocent girl he'd kidnapped.

I looked behind us, and it looked like at this rate, once the dogs got to the ham, we would be out of sight.

I didn't dare turn my head to look, the gun was still pressed against it. I could hear the dogs getting closer.

I le kept walking.

They were almost to the ham. By now, the humans were out of their doggy minds. All they wanted was that meat.

I kept walking beside you. Thinking... 'Hm, wonder what's going to happen back at the orphanage when they hear I'm gone?'

I kind of wondered what the dogs would do once they ran out of ham..
