I'm going to continually write a story, and I want people to imput for where they want the story to go. First two people who agree on a course of action will win the vote.
I'll start writing... NOW.
As he ran through the woods, trees branches smacking him in the face, our hero fought back tears swelling up in his eyes. The branches were getting thicker and thicker and the sound of the raging battle started growing louder and louder with intensity. He had to get away. He had to-
Someone caught a hold of his cloak. He didn't turn around to see if it were friend or foe, but instead pushed forward even more trying to get away. The other person tightened their grip and yanked back. Our hero dug his heals into the ground, hitting some roots and gaining traction, he kicked off and swung his elbow back. He his something hard, and with the sound of a loud crack and a muffled yelp, the arm let him go. Our hero raced further and further into the woods. When he hit a clearing, he stopped long enough to see the sopping stain of blood on his elbow, before he could hear the sound of people coming in looking for him. He was being followed.

Chaser: Buck
Buck pretends to trip and gets the hero close because the hero can't stand to see someone hurt. The hero gets tricked and is tagged. -

The story is amazing. I'll give a reason for being chased and who is chasing him. My mind is odd so this is what I think.
He's not completely normal and people want him dead. The people that want him dead are hunters. Basically they hunt anything supernatural like vampires, werewolves, even doublegangers. -
The hero is kind of freaking out and just drew blood, I don't think someone yelling "Tag! You're it!" will seem very believable, or make it very easy to continue the story.
Although I do believe I could make something similar work though. We still need more votes though. -

Hmm...What if the hero is being chased because he's holding a secret file that the other guy wants.
