You're not the only one who had to deal with a lot of shit when they took you, Degree. No matter what they might have done to you, it could never have been worse than all that I dealt with. I became a killer in hopes that a system seeking justice would send me after the ones who took you- that I could avenge you, avenge mother and father. But I don't expect you to understand that. You're too busy saving face to care what I might have gone through.

Yes, saving face. But that's okay, disregard all the other words! Think on them too hard, and you might find some of them actually make sense, and you'd have to be wrong. Whatever. I'm tired of living my life hoping to make you forgive my weakness from years ago. You don't want a sister. You want someone you can dangle by a string, and I'm not dealing with it anymore.
