@CherryBombRiots: they generally think the "end of the world" is the Tribulation/Rapture, so they believe the christians will all be taken to heaven, so "we dont have to worry about stuff like that"

@cherrybomb Ah, the nuclear wasteland thing. My dad has a boat in harbor that, if needed , we will take to a couple uncolonized islands off the coast of South America. We will use the cover of night to get there. The boat is equipped with a water filter, food, and radios. Im prepared.

Ok here is my complete plan for whatever happens.
We will survive in our basement/safehouse as long as possible, allowing anyone who needs help/protection in. But if they need weapons they need to provide them for themselves. Then, when we can't live in my basement anymore, we'll go to Blue Ridge. After that, the coast, sailing to the islands. And we'll colonize the islands as "New America". -

Sounds good to me! I have a rifle (which I ROCK at) and a pistol (which I'm okay with) and I'm planning on getting more weapons. I can also contribute to the food stockpile. I will so do that. If it happens, get on here and I'll tell you my email address for directions. I'm with ya!

But if you do find me I'm gonna warn you. To survive in the basement, each night one person needs to stay awake all night to keep watch. And my mom has graciously agreed to let us keep some of the gold and diamonds to barter with others for things.
