Because lets face it, something will happen. Whether it be a series of terrorist attacks, nuclear attacks, WW3, extreme weather, or even a zombie outbreak ( unlikely but still possible ), we need to be prepared. Food, water, and just plain survival needs will be in big order when it happens. So my dad and I have began stockpiling food and water. And today I ordered a lot of stuff on ebay. M4A1, UMP45, 10,000 bullets, gas masks, and bullet proof vests. I'm prepared.

North Carolina. I have a safehouse in Blue Ridge. My basement at my house is concrete and packed with 2 years worth of food, water, ammo, batteries, and 1 generator.

My family is prepared and we think ahead, but we're not doomsday preppers. xD My mom was taught by her grandmother to have a stock and be careful, not because the world's going to end, but because hard times always fall. One year you may have a great harvest and prosper, the next you could be high and dry.
Plus, if the 'end of the world' does happen, I'd much rather die than try to survive in a nuclear wasteland or something like that. :P People these days watch too many movies. -

@CherryBombRiots: well, my parents are Christians, so we dont watch any movies like that. However, I have my own stockpile of provisions. There will be harder times, and I will be ready.
