How do you break up with someone that you've been dating?

Well, you have to think about how you want to be treated if someone was breaking up with you. I personally would not recommend through text/email, but in person.
Be straightforward, but not too straightforward. So, be like, "This isn't working. Maybe we shouldn't be doing this?" and she'll get the point. Don't be harsh or too cold, be gentle and sensitive. Oh, and at the end be like, "We can still be friends." -
Yeah, that might work. I was thinking about my relationship with this girl. I'm not sure whether I'm ready to call it off.

Do you want to call it off? If you do, then yeah... you should. But if you don't, then don't.
Call it off when you feel ready. And like, right time, right place. -
But I'm worried about her reaction now. I mean, like she doesn't really have any problem with me. But I do. XD

Hm... well, if she doesn't take it well then try to calm her. The usual "Let's just be friends" works pretty well. Oh, and hugging works. Yes, hugs.
