I picked up my light blue and white surfboard. I looked around and slid into the cold water. I began paddling farther away from the shore. The croud cheered and applauded as the competition began. -
(Haha don't worry, he didn't mean anything to me at all :)
I watched the competion, keeping a close eye on the contenders. I never surfed for competions, I did it for the love of the ocean, the adrenalime, the feeling of being free. The crowd seemed to go crazy for some guy called Sammy -
(*smiles*)
I looked up and saw a huge wave coming. I quickly went to it and stood up. When the wave came under me, I did a handstand. -
I rolled my eyes seeing him do a handstand, he only surfs for audience show off, but I'll admit he has talent, he's not that bad, quite good actually

I quickly did a backflip from the handstand and landed on the board. I waved at the croud and smiled.

Typical show-surfer. Thats what we called surfers who surfed to enertain people, and to be famous. I was waiting by the palm tree, my red and black striped surfboard held in one hand. I was waiting for the competition to finish, only then was I allowed into the water

I decided after the competition I would go surfing. I swam back to the shore and sat down in the bleachers.

After a few minutes the judges calculated the scores, and Mr.Show-off came first. I rolled my eyes, "Obviously" I said to myself. I waited for the crowd to leave and soon the beach was almost vaccant, I grinned. Finally!

I smiled a bit when I got first, but it didn't really matter to me. I just did surfing for fun,not for the competition. When everyone but this one girl was gone, I saw out into the water with my surf board.

I sprinted towards the water, surf-board in hand. I dived into the water and brought my board underneath me as I surfaced, I started paddling towards an incomming wave

I looked at the in-coming wave and smiled. I swam up to it and stood up onto my board.
