He looked over at her, and smiled back. "Of course." He turned back to the road. "Oh, and let's keep you away from dark angels," he added as an afterthought.

I laughed, "I agree completely! I think your the only dark creature that I trust...thanks for saving me" I said leaning over and kissing his cheek gently, I was blushing slightly

He blushed. "Uhh... there are... there are a few more you can trust."

I smiled seeing him blush, "Really? Who?" I said playfully poking his blushing cheek

"Um... a few werewolves, the vampire queen... maybe a witch or two..."

"Oh...erm, Vampire queen?"

He nodded. "I don't know if you should meet her yet... but you can trust her."

"Oh..." I said softly, I stared out the window, "This whole thing..it...it scares me"

"You shouldn't be scared," he muttered.

"Why not? I've been close to death quite a few times"

"This is only the beginning of it, though. You shouldn't be scared yet."

My eyes widened, "Oh crap" I said covering my face in my hands

He sighed. "Unless we figure out how to maintain your power and keep it under the radar."

I looked up from my hands and nodded my head in agreement, "We must"

He thought for a minute. "And this is where the witches would come in."
