I see her ripping out a piece of paper. Great, a hater letter for me again. I get ready to be cursed out while drowning out the teacher. -
{Letter}
Hey, sorry for acting so wierd. It's just that, well you're you, ya know? So I guess was shocked that you were talking to me...sorry, came off on the wrong foot. Start again?
I reach slowly over to his desk, and flick the small square of paper onto his books. -
I read the note smiling inside. She doesnt hate me! I mouth back "Yes" Putting the note in my pocket.

Blushing like an idiot, I return to the babble of the teacher's voice and note taking until the bell rings.

Does she like me? I wonder. DING! I grab my books and say "By the way I'm Trevor" Smiling at her.

Being me, this attention would make me trip over my own two feet. "Bethany," I say. "See you later." Gladly keeping my composure, I hurry out the door to Calculus.

"Bye" I follow behind her out the door. I keep thinking about how she wrote me the note. I go to my locker and pull out the note reading it silently to myself.

The conversation with Trevor kept running through my head like a song. But, of course, every song has a bad note. Fabian gave it to me as soon as I walked in Calculus. "Beth, you know Kendra's out to get you? Don't go to gym, I heard what they were planning." I didn't have time to ask him what he meant, class had started.

DING! I slam my locker closed and I run to gym. The note slips out my pocket and lands on ground. "Shiot" I say. "Im late"

Between concentrating on my lesson and trying to understand it, I'd forgotten the threat of Kendra.

Instead of heading to gym I hang in the cafeteria. I reah for the note. "Oh no..Its gone."

Fabian taps me shoulder.
"What?" I hiss. He's as clueless as me, he should be paying attention.
"Here." A small slip of paper lands on my desk.
Kendra's going to do the old steal-your-clothes-in-shower-bit.
Annoyed, I scratch back, That's a reason for me not to go? -
I search for the note up and down the hall. Damn what if Kendra finds it?

I sigh. Fabian can be so dramatic.
This is high-school, Fabian. And you're the one who poured the coffee on her!
