He glanced at the clock. 5:49. "Want some dinner?"

"Yea, I guess." I said.

He headed into the tiny kitchen part of the apartment and started making dinner.

I sat on the couch.

Why do I have her here? Well, the way she made home sound... then again, this can't be much better. He glanced around his little apartment. She was sitting on the couch. Despite the fact that he'd found her trying to kill herself and was pretty depressed, she was actually kind of pretty. We'll see. It might be nice to have some company for once.

I looked down at my hands. My hair a mess in my face.

He still had the knife in his pocket. He pulled it out of his pocket, hiding it.

I pulled my hair back behind my ears.

He glanced at her again, and smiled faintly. She really was pretty, but she didn't think she was anything special. Too bad.
Ten minutes later, dinner was ready. He got out two plates and called her over. -
I got up and headed over to Thomas.

He smiled at Vannesah slightly. "Ladies first."

What be the food?
"Thanks," I said blushing. -
Chicken and... uh....
He grinned, seeing her blush. -
She look into his eyes. He was kind of cute when he smiled.

Seeing her closer made her look even more beautiful...
