"Look, I've gotta get to work. Sounds like you don't have much else, so help me out and come home with me afterward?" He grabbed a mop. -
"I guess," I said wiping tears away.

"Okay then." He grabbed a bottle of cleaning solution-luckily, nontoxic-and a roll of paper towels. He handed them to her. "The windows by Room 17C need to be wiped down."

I only nodded and headed off.

He set to work in the hall, mopping the floor. -
Pssst, whay?
She took and sprayed the first window, then wipped it off. -
Are you a ninja?
He whistled quietly as he worked. -

I finished, and head to where he was. -
Because ninjas are sexy.
He looked up at her. While she'd been wiping down windows, he'd mopped the floor and taken out the garbage in most of the classrooms. -
Wait, wha?
"Done," I said. -
Everyone wants to be a ninja because ninjas are sexy and everyone wants to be sexy.
"Good. The other janitor will take care of the rest." He put away the cleaning supplies. "Ready to go?" -
