The girl stopped immediately, taking out her sword. She deflected most of them, though a few bullets grazed her skin. She started to laugh, the sword prepared in front of her. "Oh, I don't have a problem, my dear. You do. You now have a problem with me." Auralee's voice was very menacing. She slowly started to approach the figure.
-
Again, Carnival found herself irritated by the girl's over confidence. She gritted her teeth, aiming the guns again.
She knew they were both too light for comfort before she even pulled the trigger. Still, the surprise was hard to miss in her too-loud gasp as she pulled at the triggers, and nothing happened. She tried again and again before she forced herself to admit that she was out of bullets. A low growl built in her throat, and it worked up until it turned into a full blown shriek of absolute frustration.
"God damn it! Stupid motherf---ing guns! I don't even know why I carry you around anymore! You're useless!" she snapped, cursing at the inanimate weapons. She threw them to the ground, kicking them both. -
Auralee came right up to the figure and pushed them against the wall. Her sword lingered at their throat. "What's your name, shooter?" she asked, her voice filled with over confident authority.
-
Carnival glared at the girl, cold eyes level with hers. "You irritate me." she growled, scowling. If she was going to die, she wouldn't be dying in compliance with the demands of this girl.
Stupid, arrogant girl. If I hadn't run out of ammo! -
Auralee smirked. "Good. That's what I was going for." she pressed the log blade harder against the persons throat. "Now answer my question."
-
The blade pressed into Carnival's throat. She glared harder at the girl. There had to be something she could do..
She lashed out in a jabbing kick at the girl's stomach, hoping to push her away. The only true threat from a swordsman was closeness. After that, she would be able to reclaim her guns, run, and possibly even find some ammo in time. -
Auralee bent over and held her stomach for a second, then swung her sword and put a deep gash in the persons leg. She let out a small groan of pain then straightened up.
-
Carnival felt the blade cut her leg, but she had to ignore it for the time being. This was an opening... She jabbed at the girl repeatedly now, not really aiming her blows, but feeling at least some of them connect.
-
Auralee ignored the rest of the blows, swinging her sword at the person, only creating a tear in their cloak. She kicked her leg up towards their face, connecting with their jaw.
-
Carnival felt a strong blow hit her jaw, pushing her backwards. She fell with a heavy thud, the hood falling back from her face. At this point, it wouldn't even matter. This was only a girl, after all.. She gasped, feeling the pain now. Something was broken, that was easy enough to recognize. She held onto her jaw, muttering curse words to herself.
"God damn it, this is not a good day to be me." she growled, sitting up. She pulled the remnants of the torn cloak off from around her shoulders, and glared up at the girl. "Stupid sword." she growled. Whoever had made up that phrase about bringing a blade to a gun fight obviously hadn't taken this kind of blade into account.
Of course, they probably weren't out of bullets, either. -
Auralee looked at the person. "Now will you tell me your name?"
-
At this point, Carnival's resistance was nothing but pure stubborness.
"No." she said, pursing her lips like a child. -
Auralee laughed and shook her. "Stubborn little thing you are, no?" she swung her sword around, finally putting it away. "Hmm.... What to do, what to do.."
-
"Don't touch me. I don't want to catch your arrogance." Carnival hissed.
Damn it, this b---- is full of it! -
Auralee giggled a touched the persons nose. "Well, aren't you a cute one, eh?"
