Damn. xD Auto-tune sucks. If I ever become a singer, I'm not using auto-tune. If people don't like my true voice, they don't have to listen to me. :P

Mostly all singers these days have their voice edited, even of they aren't using auto-tune. :/

Whether it be pitch perfecters, etc, the record companies always enhance the singer's voice one way or another. You really can't get around it. You know who a true artist is after you see them live and find that their performance sounded better than any recorded soundtracks.

You might be able to negotiate a minimal alteration/edits deal... But given the sheer amount of technology at the world's disposal, there's no preventing all editing from occurence.

If you don't sellout, you can avoid that s---. Just sign an independant label.
