Haha I got mine when I was in 8th grade and it was 2nd period. And it felt like I peed a little. So I asked my teacher if I could go to the bathroom and then when I got there. There was this brown stripe in my underwear and then some blood in the toilet. And so then, I had to walk all the way down to the nurses office. And when I got there, there was this guy lying on one of the beds. And so that conversation win the nurse was really awkward. And she told me that most girls go home after their first period, especially if they get it in school. But I didn't wanna go home because I had a track meet. And after the track meet, I was suppose to spend the night over at my friend's house and then we were suppose to go shopping, but I told her that I couldn't go because of reasons.

@Icy at first, your period is a brownish-redish. Well, for me at least. Because mines kinda light the first day.

anri hyuga Novicei got my first period in sixth grade. but i was at home with my mom.i went to the bathroom and i saw blood on my underwear.I screamed bloody murder.after going to the bathroom my mom asked what wa swrong and i told her.she huged me and said Izzy your a woman know.i stared at her like what the heck.and then she explained it to me.

@Icy XD. I that story that I mentioned was actually the 2nd time I got my period. The first I didn't even know because it was just a thin brown line. And I was confused because I didn't even take a crap one of those days. And then it went away and I thought "Was that my period? I'll just wait till next month to see if I get it again, and if I do, then it was." :P.

Yeah, I started my first period in 6th grade. Which was a few months ago. It was all funny at first because every time my mum & sister had their periods I was like "HAHAHAHAAA! IM NEVER GONNA HAVE A PERIOD!" Then when I started my period my sister was like "I thought you were never gonna have a period?!" lol. Then it wasn't funny anymore. It was cramping and BLARG! We do this thing at the end of the school year called Field Day where everyone goes behind the school and there's different stations like sports and water game and stuff. I'm soooooo lucky I stopped my period right before that day or I wouldn't have been able to go because I can't get wet and stuff. >:3
