There was shadow everywhere.He could barely see anything,despite his vampiric nature.
Damon was groaning in his sleep. -
Her attacker, and almost killer, was also a vampire. Maya could remember her few seconds of consciousness, and the fear. The instincts that took over, telling her to escape. Get away before he killed her.
She trembled in her sleep. -
In the shadows,Damon found a weak light.
"hey there?"
He spotted somebody standing in the light. -
As she collapsed to the ground, she fainted. She didn't know what happened then. But in the dream, he killed the attacker and turned her before she died. She owed him.

"Mom?"
The standing person glanced at Damon and she looked so familiar.
"Mom?"
Damon approached her with fast steps.Voices started talking in his head,familiar voices.
"Animal..animal...get away..animal.." -
The dream drifted away.

Damon woke up in horror. -
Maya woke at Damon's shout. She stood up, walking over to him timidly. "Uh... Damon, you okay?" She muttered.

He muttered. -
"Bad dream?" she asked.
