"That's were you will be going if you don't get help." I say as the ambulance arrives.

I shake my head, tears flooding my face. "No, no, no, no, no, no...this can't be happening..."

The perimedics load her up on tbe gurne. And we wind up in the back of the ambulance.

I'm crying heavily. I can't see a thing. But now I can't tell whether they are tears of pain, or joy that someone cares enough to call 911.

A perimedic says to the girl,"We're almosg there. Just a few more minutes." Then he turns to me," what happened?" "She cut herself." I say.

All I wanted to do was curl up in a ball and cry. And cry and cry and cry. I didn't need help.

We arrive at the hospital and the take the girl away.

I laid there, the tears still running down my face.

I sit in the waiting room, waiting for someone to give me any news about the girl.

They stitched up my arm and cleaned off all the blood. They sent me into the waiting room saying I could go home.

I see the girl walk in. "Hey," I say.

I had my sleeve pulled down over my stitches and was looking at my feet, walking out. I didn't even look at him.

"Look at me," I say.

I stopped and looked at him, my eyes still sparkling from leftover tears.

"Don't do that again, please." I say. Then I hold out one of my hands for her to take
