I'm almost asleep when a truck comes by and wakes me up.

I'm just about to fall asleep when I hear a truck. I sit up quickly.

"You okay?" I ask.

"I think that's my dads truck," I said.

"Well, do you want to run, or talk to him?" I ask.

I got up. "Run, definitely run." I took off again, running away from the sound of the truck.

"Wait up," I yell chasing after her.

I kept running. I never wanted to see my family again.

I pushed harder, trying to keep up with Naylee as she ran.

I kept running til I was sure they wouldn't be able to find me right now. I sat down on the ground, breathing slightly heavily.

I catch up to Naylee and see that we are in the middle of a forest.

I sit, catching my breath.

I pant, wishing I had water. "Hey, want to head to my house?" I sugest.

I look up at him. I nod.

I hold out my hand to Naylee.
