I'm sittin on the couch, playing video games when I hear my brother walk in. "Hey, broski. What's up, man?" I asked, not taking my eyes off the screen.

We gather around the kitchen table. "Danielle, we believe you are our guardian angel."

I looked up and dropped my controller. I stood up stiffly, brushing the crumbs of chips off my shirt and pants. I looked at the girl, who was most definitely the most beautiful I had ever seen. "Hi," I said with a charming smile.
