I apparently got selected for the showcase... But people are skeptical about the decision. ;3; And I dunno how to prove them wrong.
And I got called back for paid summer theater... Apparently, only three or four people get this far up the chain, which indicates a lead role. But I'm still freaking out. Dx
I'm spending the weekend at my grandparents' house, but they don't accept me all that much. My grandmother was one of the 'populars' back when she was my age, and she's set on the idea that I should be less like my reserved author self and more like a bubbly cheerleader wannabe. :/ She ridicules everything I say, do, and think about. I'm nervous to tell her about the above things because she'll probably tear me down. She was never too keen on my partaking in 'the arts'. -
