  "Bye." I said opening the door and walking out. The wound won't stop bleeding when I got home. I went straight to my room and bandage the wound. Then went to the kitchen and got something to eat. My parents worked all night.

  I turn to Alex. I'm about to say something when my cellphone rings. "Hello? . . . Oh hi mom . . . yeah Alex is here . . . yes, I'm fine . . . NO! . . . yeah . . . they picked again? . . . really? . . . who is it? . . . oh no . . . what? yeah everything's okay . . . me? okay . . . yeah. yeah I will . . . say goodnight to dad for me, 'kay? . . . love you too mom . . . see you soon . . . g'night." I hang up. "What was that all about?" Alex asks me. "They've picked again," I say, "And they want me to bring her in."

  Suddenly I shove Sarah out of the way just as Megan (Kris's girlfriend) jumps at us. She knocks me down and starts throwing punches at me but I kick her off and she flies into a locker. A crowd gathers in a circle around us and starts chanting 'Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!' as Megan and I get up. I don't usualy show off my fighting skills, but I realize that if I'm ever going to, now's the time so soon we're kicking and punching eachother. I'm winning and everybody knows it. I spot Alex at the back of the crowd. He's glaring at me and holding Sarah back.
