When I arrived at the party with Anna, I was wearing my regular short light blue denim shorts and a pink tank top, with white flip flops. Anna grinned wildly, seeing her boyfriend, Parker, sitting on the steps to the house, waiting. They hugged, and kissed, and yeah, I was jealous. So I went inside, in search of the kitchen for a beer.

Later, Max walked into the kitchen of his house. His dad was on a business trip, and his mom had gone to visit his aunt. It had only taken thirty bucks to get his sister to shut up and have a sleepover with a bunch of other third graders.
He grinned, spotting Maria. "Hey, glad you could come." -
I saw Max, and sighed, feeling my forehead.
"I was forced. I may not be in a good mood, forewarning you right now. And, by the end of the night, I will be drunk. Because that's my choice. Um, can I have some beer?" I ask. Truthfully, I have never, ever been drunk before in my life.
Might as well have the experience. -
He nodded, opening the fridge. Honestly, it was pure luck that his dad had left them there. He handed her a can. "That's too bad. Although, I can probably change that by the end of tonight."
-
"Ha. Ha. Ha." I say flatly, popping the tab and taking a swing. "Oh, God," I say, pratically choking. I blink and recover. That felt really good. "And how will you make me happier. To tell you the truth, I am actually curious."
-
"You'll see." He grinned, leaving the kitchen.
-
I looked after him, and smiled to myself. I eventually left the kitchen and literally collided into Anna. She laughed out loud.
"Hey, silly, I was just looking for you! Where were you? I saw Max! Have you talked to him? I think you should, because he looked overjoyed. I don't know what about. You have talked to him! I know it. You've got that Post-Max glow, not even kidding. He said something cute and flirty, didn't he? Because my boy scale is off the charts." Anna says and I laugh.
"First of all, I don't know if I should be worried about your boy scale, and second of all, yes. I did talk to Max, but it was a quick conversation. I probably won't see him again tonight." I tell her, taking another sip of beer. -
He went around, being the perfect high school party host.
-
(Um... I dunno where Danny went.)
We went upstairs, to get away from the noise and went into Max's bedroom. We left the door open, and I flung onto the bed. "So comfy," I say dreamily, closing my eyes. -
(Continue without her?)
"Yeah, sure. I'll go get it. And actually, the graphics are way better than on the first one." Max walked into the hallway and dashed upstairs. He'd put the game in his room... he opened the door, a look of surprise crossing his face as soon as he saw who was in his room. -
(Sure, sure.)
I sat up quickly when the door opened. "Sorry," I say to Max, blushing. "It's just, um, really loud down there. And, um. I'm tired and your bed is so freaking comfortable." I tell him, and Anna and Parker are just sitting on the floor, grinning at each other. I roll my eyes. -
(I'mwasnt sure where to start so I reading these)

"It's fine." He grabbed the case off his shelf and the disk off of his desk.
