It was mid-day when the new doctor arrived to the city. It was a lot different from his hometown, especially since it had been smaller, much smaller.
"Let's see..." Ray muttered looking at a cutout ad for an open position at the hospital. Although, it wasn't a doctor's position, that's exactly what it would work up to. In the same newspaper that he found the ad, there had been a missing notice of the previous man that had worked in the hospital.
He called for a cab and had the driver rush to the hospital so he could hurry for a shot at the offer. He wanted this job, and needed it to pay off the apartment he'd be living in for the time being. -
A young man, no older than seventeen, sat gazing out his hospital window, lost in his own cuckoo little world. That was how things always were. Day after day, ever since he checked into the psychiatric ward. He'd gotten used to this kind of on-going loneliness long ago, so staying in the hospital full-time was no problem for him.

Mikheal entered the hospital doors, his face emotionless and almost empty. He approached the front desk, seeing a blonde woman there working. "Hello, may I help you, dear?" "Yes, I'd like to check into the psych ward." She looked up from her computer with a surprised kind of expression. "And why is that?" "I'm afraid I'll hurt myself or someone else." He said simply. She studied him for a moment, then stood up and waved him along. "Alright, follow me."

Hana perked up from her own place and quickly stood. "Oh, Ella, dear, you have work to do. I'll take him there. Not to mention, you're not allowed access through the ER and I believe someone else is here that requires your assistance." She said firmly, glancing at the door as the small town doctor stepped through. She extended her hand to the teen with a smile. "Come now. I'll bring you some lunch after you're situated."
Ray watched the raven-haired woman walk out with a boy and hurried to the front desk. "I'm here about the job position...? Hopefully I'm not too late or anything..." He gave a look of worry, fearing the chance of rejection. -
The deranged young man remained lost in his trance until, from far away, he heard one of the nurses -Hana was her name, he was aware of that- talking to another nurse. Something about taking someone somewhere. Instantly, his paranoia kicked in. All he could do was ask himself what was going on.

Ella nodded and moved to meet the man with a smile. "Oh no, right on time. We haven't had anyone inquire yet. I'll show you to our boss." She walked down the hall for him to follow, then lead him to a door with the name 'James R. Parker' inscribed on it. She knocked. "Who is it?" A deep male's voice asked from behind it. "Sorry to bother you sir, an applicant for the job has arrived." "Alright, send him in." She nodded to him and went back to her desk.
Mikheal followed the new woman, looking around as they passed different places. -
Ray carefully walked in. "Sorry to probably disturb you. I saw the wanted ad in the newspaper and decided to take a shot at it." He chuckled nervously. "If you..don't mind me asking...What exactly do you do, sir?"
The nurse fiddled with her keys and unlocked a door next to Dylan's. "Go on in. I suppose I'll check on your neighbor as well. He's been awful quiet and I'm sure he's hungry as well." She shooed the 15-year-old into the room and closed the door, moving to the one beside it.
