I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy s--- we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great war's a spiritual war. Our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. but we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.

Yeah, I know what you mean.
Could you answer a question for me? -
Of course.

Did something happen 34 days ago? Cause every time I see and experienced or Hot Shot user that I haven't seen around before, I'll look in their recent posts, and it always says 34 days ago. Now I know it changes everyday, I think. I'm not really old enough user to understand all the workings of GTQ....

The recent post tracker stops at 34 days. Even if the person hasn't posted in longer than that, it doesn't count past then.

Oh... Okay, thank you for clearing that up.
So, what's up? -
Feeling the inspiration to bring humanity back to its base instincts.

Yeah, I mean, I understand how we are a 'developed' species, but I don't get why our faces have to be glued to tv and laptop screens, and then they're making all these handheld things. I'm a very old fashioned person, I like antique stuff, you know, and it just pains me when I see people throwing out all these incredible unique things from our history, just so they can make room for a plasma or something like that.

Our generation is the give me generation. We feed off of the creations of those who came before us, and build ontop of the shoulders of the past. Tell me, do you know anyone who can build an old pendulum clock from scratch? Neither do I. That's because the trade has been lost. We have machines do that for us now. People on assembly lines piece them together and call it a finished product. We are losing what brought us here, and when humanity finally needs to call on its support, it will crumble under the gravity of not remembering how to use it. We are already past the point of retribution. Our lives are part of the build up to the climactic finale. All that's left now is to make sure you're on top of the water when the flood gates open.

Yeah, I don't like what our world has become....
-
Welcome to our anathema lives.

I agree.

Just for that, I'm teaching myself how to make a pendulum clock from scratch.
