Rixon smiled and wrapped an arm around her.

I buried my face in the curve of his neck and shoulder, closing my eyes and falling asleep.

Rixon kept his arm around her and closed his eyes, falling asleep slowly.

I slept a dreamless sleep

Rixon dreamed of all the horrible ways Lara could be tortured by that mysterious person who captured her. It nearly brought him to tears, the pain it caused him to see her in pain. He couldn't take it and woke up, gasping in a cold sweat.

I felt Rixon wake up next to me, my eyes fluttered open. He seemed scared and sad, I hugged him and looked at him, "Are you okay love?"

Rixon hugged her tightly. He shook his head as a few tears started to trickle out.

I looked up at him, my fingers gently brushed his cheeks, wiping his tears away. "Was it a nightmare?" I said softly

Rixon nodded.

I kissed the top of his head,"Tell me, what was it about?"

"About you, being tortured by that guy who took you from me. Who wants to kill you so much."

"He's not going to take me away again, I promise. Look" I said outstretching my arms showing red marks on my skin, "The burns are almost gone"

Rixon nodded and sucked in a breath.

"Its okay, I'm here.." I whispered soothingly, stroking his hair gently

Rixon buried his head in her shoulder.
