So I was Number 7. 45 minutes of waiting later, I was let into the audition room. We actually used the stage, which was brilliant. So, I gave him a brief introduction, then started my song. I sang 'Skyscraper' by Demi Lovato. He let me sing the whole song in its entirety, which wasn't supposed to happen. When it ended he gasped and said, "Well, I should've stopped you, but I didn't. I was too into it." So then we talked for a while about my experience and whatnot; just little things directors need to know. After that I sang him some scales. He said he was thoroughly impressed by my voice. Next, I went into my monologue. It was about an angry fast food worker.
"I'll be vicious in this one... Just letting you know in a advance that it's nothing personal," I said before beginning.
I can honestly say this is the funnest audition I've ever taken part in. Mr. Lamb was just wonderful, and the fact that I wasn't nervous at all made it a lot easier. He was in awe at the end, to an extent where I didn't know what to say. xD He actually said I was in instead of 'you'll be hearing from me soon.' So, I'm assuming that means good news. ^^ I had so much fun with it though... That's what truly counts. I might post a recording of myself singing the song on vocaroo tomorrow. If I have time, that is. -
