  Max and Poppy followed her through the ashes, watching and smelling. There didn't seem to be anything-
  "Fox..." Poppy growled, her lips curled up in the beginning of a snarl.
  Libba sighed, and sniffed the air. Sure enough, it was tainted with the scent of fox. It was odd, considering that everything that had ever smelled like fox would have probably burnt up. Unless there was a surviving fox.
