"I understand." I slowly nodded, unclasping my hands.

"Well, we better get moving, before the troops come here." I said, trying to walk.

"If only we had horses. Much easier, monsieur. In this age, I imagine they do not have horses."

"We have horses, we still ride them, for fun. We have faster inventions to travel in." I explained.

"For fun... So strange." I looked him up and Dow, stopping my pacing.

I shrugged. "Things have changed, a lot."

"I guess, monsieur."

"Yeah, my name is Patrick, by the way."

"Pleasure to meet you monsieur Patrick. I am Sir General Napoleon Bonaparte." I snickered.

I rolled my eyes. "I realize that. Now let's get the hell out of here."

"You treat me as if I am not important."

"This is how I treat everyone. And you're not really important, anymore." I smirked. "Now, do you want to get back to France or not?"

I sneered at him, my mouth in a thin line. "And if I die now, you know everything will fall apart. The books will change, the history will change, education, your war, your army, your everything."

I shrugged. "Don't care about history. The other stuff..." I trailed off. "Well, the point is, this is not your time, you need to get back, before something changes with you not there."

"Yes. I do not necessarily trust you, or think you are that smart, but you are very tolerable, compared to that other man."
