I opened my eyes, feeling somewhat unsafe.

He glanced over at her. "Something wrong?"

I looked at him. "I just feel...unsafe. It's probably just paranoia."

"Hopefully..." He sighed.

I nodded. "Yeah." I muttered.

"Are you paranoid often?" he asked.
(Um... did we still want to make this a romance?) -
I shrugged. "Sometimes I am."
(Sure, we'll make it a romance/action?) -
"Hm."
(Okay.) -
"Yeah."

They drove along in silence for a little while.

Somewhere in the ride I dozed off.

Tyler looked over at her. She'd fallen asleep. He drove until late that night, eventually stopping on the side of another practically deserted road. Playing with the lever on the seat so he was lying down, he yawned. "Night princess," he whispered, smiling a bit. He hoped she wouldn't have that dream again that she had that first day. Then he drifted off to sleep.

I woke up with sun shining in my face. I grunted. -
He was still asleep when Piper woke up. He muttered something in his sleep.

I rubbed my eyes and looked at the clock. 7:45 am.
