I'm sad and awake again.

Requested off for one day. My first request off for the year. I missed a total of 5 work days this year. A lot less than what most of my department has missed. We have two people who call out at least 3 times a month, so...
But im worried about the AM being petty and rejecting it because she didn't want me to go home so I could grieve our pet after allowing me to leave. Like, im still angry about her behavior. It was disgusting, and people told her whether it was a dog or a fish, she had no right to decide what was worthy of my grief. My blood still boils because its not like she stayed up past midnight trying to give him meds and keep his water stable and make sure he didn't die overnight. But im not allowed to go home and cry my eyes out because a living creature that i loved and made me happy died and I couldn't save him. Disgusting miserable hag. -
I'm really requesting off because I know what that feels like after a con, and idk if ill be sick within the following 48 hours. But when you go to a con and come back, you feel dead tired like you traveled the world, man.
